Privacy Policy

The short version

SinMRT works entirely offline and requests no network permission.
It has no account, no analytics and no tracking.
Nothing you search or plan ever leaves your device — there's no server for it to go to.
If you enable location, it is used only on-device to show where you are on the map, and is never transmitted.

SinMRT ("SinMRT", "we", "us") is an offline Singapore MRT & LRT route planner for iOS, operated by ifconfiger. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. In short: it collects nothing and sends nothing.

1. Information we collect

None. SinMRT does not create an account, does not include analytics or advertising SDKs, and makes no network connections. The system map, station data, route planning and fare tables are bundled with the app and run on your device.

2. Location

SinMRT can optionally use your device location — only if you grant permission — to centre the map on where you are. This happens entirely on-device through iOS. Your location is never stored by us, never attached to anything, and never transmitted, because the app has no network access. You can decline location and use every feature by tapping or searching for stations instead, and you can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.

3. No network, no third parties

The app does not connect to any server — ours or anyone else's. There are no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking services embedded in SinMRT. Consequently, no data about you is ever shared, sold, or transferred.

4. On-device data

Any preferences the app keeps (such as a recently used station) are stored locally on your device and are included only in your own device or iCloud backups, which are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Deleting the app removes this local data.

5. About the data shown

Fares reflect the official published adult card fare table and are charged by shortest distance in line with the official fare rules; the off-peak discount is not applied. Journey times are estimates that include an estimated wait. SinMRT is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any transit operator or authority.

6. Children

SinMRT is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes.
